Last year (2009), we pulled off a successful event at UMKC where high school seniors met with college seniors/graduates from different academic programs as well as officials from the admission and financial aid offices of the University of Missouri (Read how to choose a major). We are planning to do the same this year. The event has been scheduled for April 30, 2010 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm @ Plaza Room, Administrative Center, UMKC. We will post the directions on our website.

The event will target junior and senior high school students as well as their parents, if they need to benefit from the event. Students will get a load of information about different disciplines that will either solidify their thoughts or direct them to a new and better direction. In either case, they will be well-informed of what to expect in school and beyond, financial aid ins and outs and admission procedures. We would like your help by spreading the word to possible college-bound students.
